Boot Camp!

Want to improve your Hobby skills? They Say Painted Models Roll Better? Want to know where to start? Hobby Boot Camp is for you!

Starting in January Hobby Boot Camps will be run by multi international award winning painter Mr.Craig in room 108 on scheduled Wednesdays!

The overall idea was to create a series of skills seminars that each tackle one or two specific concepts in a way that a) laddered – meaning lessons that built on one another and allowed previous skills to be practiced alongside new ones b) approachable for students of all skill levels and c) could be shared in a reasonable time frame.  

Some of the lessons will be of most interest to the newest players, some will really be of interest to all levels of hobbyist.

Lesson 1. Introduction to model building, cleaning flash, priming (spray and AB)

Lesson 2: AIRBRUSH INTRO/BASECOATING

Lesson 3: Brush painting 101: Brush control, Thinning Paint, Basecoats & Clean Up.

Lesson 4: Finishing Techniques 101: Dry Brushing, Blended Metallics, Highlights

Lesson 5: Washes, Detailing, Cool tricks & Protecting.

So Bring Your models or paint part of the club's collection!!!! All are welcome!
